"A path diverged in a wood..."

"And I took the road less traveled." From a poem by Robert Frost, it hints at the journey and struggle behind undertaking any worthy endeavor. Lately I've jumped headlong into a major undertaking of research, study, and implementation to defend and correct errors that are focused at myself and others who don't deserve such treatment. I'm nearly 170 hours into the project, tracking such because I plan to bill for the same, and I'm in need of a diversion!

"Success is created
one decision at a time!"
Forgive me if I turn my attention this week away from the common themes of the day back to something that interests me, like music, art, photography, and putting wealth to work to power worthy projects... each to which I'm looking forward to returning.

I've always enjoyed being creative in music, art, photography, writing... more than any other type of endeavor. I spent much time alone as a child with my brother and sister being more than a few years ahead of me, and thereby developed a rather fertile imagination! I had difficulty in reading early in school, but tended to spend a great deal of time with books anyway. How do you create success? Turn your weaknesses into your strengths. Today, I read or write most of the day... the road less traveled.
Several of the linked articles this week touch on "the road ahead" for the next several years. Financially it's going to be a challenge. One of my central topics of discussion is "money management", for in a mounting depression we will all need to be more "financially efficient". We will also need to have control over some (good) or most (better) of our income stream, and become in effect, "financially anti-fragile". Yes, I'm creative and like designing t-shirts when I have something that needs said, but I also realize that additional income streams take time to establish.

"Passive Income and Practicing What I Preach"

I recommend if you haven't already embraced ideas for services or products you could offer going forward that others around you will need or want, that you begin doing so sooner rather than later. You'll want to examine and find ideas that [1] solve a problem, [2] make their life or work easier, or [3] make their life or experience more enjoyable. Establish that service, and you're "in business". The rough road ahead is coming with nowhere to hide; the hour is getting late to get you hiking into high gear.
If price increases are the symptom of inflation where "too much currency is chasing too few goods", what happens to prices when the quantity of currency units decrease and each unit is more valuable?

Something a bit different from my creative side:

Howl

"Howl like you're the only wolf in the wood." The notes on the staff are paw prints, and the sentiment has nothing whatsoever to do with "stage fright"!
